Which football do you think is harder overall?

this question is preferably for people who play/played bath american and association football. if you havent played one of the sports, please at least dont disrespect the other.

note: this is referring to the overall sports and not based on certain positions.

my friend and i were having a debate on whether american football is harder to play than association or not. we both played both sports since we were about 7 or 8. i think american is tougher simply because you have to deal with pads which weighs10- 15 pounds which take the life out of you, especially in the summer when i traps body heat inn 100 degree weather. we did agree that running/ stamina are equal since in american, you need to be all out since we both played special, offensive and defensive teams. but in association, you are constantly running (not always at 100% though). he said association was harder simply because scoring a goal is way more harder than scoring a touchdown or field goal (which is true).

in association, i play winger and defensive midfield. in american, i play free safety, wide receiver, gunner and running back, so the positions matched. and my friend plays center back, and secondary striker in association and running back, linebacker and tight end on american.

so, in the least bias decision, what do you think is harder to play?Which football do you think is harder overall?
i played both and trust me , american football is WAYY harder. expecially during pratice, american is soo much harder and more tiring and intense. first the only hard part about soccer(reg football). is that so much running. its like running here running there, and thats really only for midfield and foward. those are basically the tiring position. but your talking about hard. football is so much. quarterback needs to make good plays. and the defence needs to read traps just so quicly. so you need brain. then you need to be strong. i dont think strengty is such a big deal in soccer. i have to hit the weight room like at leaast 1 hour a day for american football. so put strength on the list. we need speed. so much speed in cornerback WR and runningbback. so put that on the list. we need hops. this list can take foreer so im going to stop. and if you were to play both just go to american football pratice for one day. its hell. but what do we get in return. championships
I think soccer is easier to play having played both lots of times as NFL uses up lots of stamina and i am fit guy.Which football do you think is harder overall?
American. There's no punt returning in soccer.

Well, you're asking the American football section so you should get "no bias" answers but I'm here to give an actual answer. Anyways..

Soccer takes strategy and stamatic endurance. You're running non-stop for two hours and you have got to have eye-body coordination to pass the ball precisely to a player that will shoot the ball. There's 9 defenders accounting the midfielders also. You can't give up the possesion easily. You also have to the ability to outrun and get away from defenders. Kicking the ball takes years of knowledge and experience. You have got to know how to kick the ball to where you can bend it or a laser shot that will go straight. That's a whole lot to know.

American football relys mainly on physique and agility. Which anybody can do but it's reserved mostly towards big guys and stocky guys, which is not fair to the average person. Also, another fact is that those player get rests all game long. Same can't be said in soccer.

Overall, Soccer takes strategy and stamatic endurance while American football takes physique....mostly. So in essence Soccer is harder, since you need to be fit and strategic.
